aXseum Inc. seeks a highly motivated and experienced Senior Systems Administrator to support a Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) mission in Albuquerque, NM. This position will support the Defense Stockpile Management Systems (DSMS) which includes: Defense Integration and Management of Nuclear Data Services (DIAMONDS), Joint Application Design Environment (JADE), Nuclear Inventory Management and Cataloging System (NIMACS), Government Acceptance Testing (GAT), and DIAMONDS Accountability Training System (DATS).

Job Description Summary:

Systems Administrator will maintain an organization's computer systems' workflows and is responsible for the upkeep, configuration and reliable operation of computer systems, including fixing network issues along with updating equipment and software. Creates and administers profiles and accounts and maintains systems documentation. Tunes system performance for optimal conditions. Installs system-wide software.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

1. Deploy, configure, upgrade, and maintain physical and virtualized Windows servers 
2. Harden systems in compliance with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
3. Review Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs) and implement appropriate actions to Windows servers and enterprise applications 
4. Troubleshoot Windows domain assets 
5. Create procedural documentation relating to Windows enterprise services and application support 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

1. Experience administering Windows Server 2012 or later
2. Experience administering and troubleshooting Windows domain environments
3. Functional knowledge of NTFS and shared permissions
4. Fundamental knowledge of Group Policy, DNS, and Active Directory services
5. Perform day-to-day functions with attention to detail
6. Ability to adhere to deadlines and perform well under pressure
7. Ability to work both independently and within a team

Desired Qualifications:

1. VMware knowledge or experience is recommended
2. Experience with Dell iDRAC Knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and certificate-based authentication
3. Experience with Ivanti Security Controls is a plus
4. Certification or training in Microsoft Windows Server (MCSA, MCSE, Sever , etc.)

Minimum Education and Experience: 

1. BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 5 years of experience
2. TS Clearance
3. DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (e.g., Security CE)
